Warm Up from Winter Weather with 4 Cold Weather Recipes

Hey Reader,

I just came inside from my third round of shoveling snow in the past four days. Snow is pretty, but I'm kinda over winter.

Unfortunately, it's only February, so I have a lot of cold weather yet to come. I'm finding the silver linings where I can, and today, I'm all about the recipes that make me happy in winter.

And if it just snowed by you, too, you don't want to miss these.

The best part of a fresh snowfall is watching it come down while snuggled up inside. The second best part is making snow cream. If you've never had this super simple take on homemade ice cream, make it today (with fresh, clean snow), and you'll see what I mean.

After you shovel that snow, it's time to warm up with hot chocolate. Forget the packets. Making homemade hot chocolate is easy, and this decadent version will be your go-to.

If you prefer caffeine, try this spicy cinnamon mocha instead. True story, this is the coffee I make for myself almost every morning. I have friends "accidentally" pop in sometimes just so they can have a mug themselves.

Both hot chocolate and mocha are better with whipped cream. And yes, you can use the stuff in the spray can, but fresh whipped cream is so much better. And a cinnamon whipped cream? Heaven.

Stay warm. Stay safe. And I'll see you next week!

Happy Cooking,
Michelle
